Five of California’s largest women’s health organizations will join forces on Saturday, January 26, 2008 to present Weighting 2 Exhale Health and Wellness Summit. This year’s theme is “Links To Healthy Life Choices” and will be hosted at Wilshire United Methodist Church on 4350 Wilshire Blvd., in Los Angeles, CA 90005.
From 8:30 to 3:00pm, this event will feature health clinics for breast cancer, children’s dental, and health screening. The Denise Roberts Breast Cancer Foundation (TDRBCF) will host the Breast Cancer Clinic. A vendor health fair will provide health education resources to the community.
At this affair, Black Womens Agenda, Inc. will donate $1,200 to TDRBCF to support its Mammograms Can Save Lives Program.
